United States Presidents, Hollywood’s top executives are just a sample of the people that award-winning photographer Keith Skelton has photographed. Keith is internationally recognized for his ability to elicit a person’s unique essence and capture it on digital or film—often very quickly and in candid settings.

Commercial Photography
Keith began his career as a photojournalist in Oregon. He then moved into commercial photography for clients such as Boeing, McDonnell-Douglas, Leo Burnett-Chicago, Expeditors International, Ford Motor Company, House Ear Institute, Pacific Power & Light, Xtra Lease Trucking, and the Los Angeles Japanese American Veterans Memorial.

His work has been published in The New York Times, Air & Space Magazine, The Oregonian, Business Week, Forbes, Travel and Leisure, Newsweek, Los Angeles Times, and Santa Barbara News-Press, to name a few.

Landscape and Street Photography
Keith’s ability to sight a unique composition and immediately capture it has enabled him to create poetic photographs of natural and urban landscapes. Undulating waves of mountainscapes, rhythmic expressions of urban dwellers, and soothing sonatas of sunrises and sunsets are often found in his work. It is no surprise that music was Keith’s original artistic form, as his photographs often reflect a symphonic nature.

Educator
Over the last several years, Keith has discovered a passion for introducing amateur and semi-pro photographers to unique places in the southwestern and western United States. His workshops often occur during lunar and natural events.

Keith has also taught photography workshops at Santa Monica College and Pasadena City College.

Keith earned his Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Photography, minor in Photojournalism, from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara. He also attended the University of Hawaii and the University of Oregon.
